Power Distribution for Voting Processes:

In this section we will display all the contributions given by each Governance Member for all the Community Targets, which represent the efforts each member has made to improve the community targets, but also it shows the power each one receive on the voting processes according to the following rules:

Spirit of this Rule:

  • We aim to ensure that the power do not get concentrated in a few group of people  that could discourage the open collaboration by the incorporation of new members.

  • But at the same time the people that have worked more on the community, very likely understand better the next steps that have to be done, so they should get more power within the voting processes.

Proposal mechanisms to reach the spirit of the Rules:

Until 5 Members each one receive the same power, no matter his/her contribution.

After 5 until 10 people the  Participant equation power calculation changes to ¨less 3¨

After 10 until 20 people, the  Participant equation change to ¨less 5¨

After 20 until 30 participant we rest 7 on the equation, after 30, we rest 9 and so on….

Example... 25 Governance members that voted, the maximum power that a member could get would be 5,56% (100%/ 18 people)

According to the working Procedures the ones who do not vote in a specific voting process, do not count, so the calculation for power distribution use the current contribution just for the active voters.

This way we ensure a distribution of power and stimulate for voting.
